I know a Muslim couple and the husband’s name is Tru (which i like) and they have a son name Dragon. (pretty different….but still cool….sounds really strong and masculine)

I went to school with a Muslim man named Naysan, and I thought that he had a beautiful name! I don’t know what it means, but it’s easy to pronounce and spell.
Another man that I went to school with converted to Islam and changed his name to Yazeed, which I also thought was a great name.
I like the sound of Naysan Hakeem and Naysan Yazeed.
Best wishes to your family!
my friend just named her son Othman Mohammed.
Hasam nickname Sam
prn Hah-som or Huh-sam
Omar is a nice name, easy to pronounce, but definitely Islamic. Depending on your affiliation, Ali is a nice name. But in my studies, I have found there are not strict rules on Islamic naming, as long as the name does not have a bad connotation (ie: a name that means “Thief”) or is demeaning to the person with that name, it is permissable to name a child a name that does not neccessarily have a strong Islamic affiliation.
